Einkorn is an ancient grain that is considered
the original wheat. It remains a pure,
unhybridized form of wheat that is easier to
digest. It contains a higher percentage of

Fermented Pepper Powder for Hot Sauce, Etc.
Simply add your own water and vinegar (amounts
included) to make your own on-demand hot sauce,
or just use the powder for a special kick!
The process to make this powder is a process
that involves chopping up our homegrown peppers
(grown with no chemicals added) and then
starting the process of fermenting.
After the fermenting is done they are chopped up
further and put in molds to freeze dry. After
approximately 24 hours of freeze drying the
peppers are powdered. Then the other ingredients
are added to make this special blend. Yes, this
has a kick and some heat.

KPO Homestead Organic Ranch Dressing Mix
I got tired of trying to find a good Ranch dressing
for my Ranch dressing "snobs" that live here! They'd
find one they liked, but then we'd read the
ingredients and it was less than desirable --- MSG,
High Fructose Corn Syrup, GMO, etc. So, I went on
the mission to making our own using this mix plus
milk & mayonnaise. We all love it here!! It's the
greatest! Plus, I know what's in it. Not only is it
good for Ranch dressing, but it makes a tasty Ranch
dip by just adding sour cream.
For Ranch dressing - simply add 3 Tbs mix to ½ cup
milk and 1 cup mayonnaise. For Ranch dip – add 1 Tbs

years, freeze-dried it and used it to make
this yummy sourdough pancake mix. What a
special treat this would be for
fluffy pancakes one morning. Only pure

with 1-3/4 cup milk, 1 egg, ¼ cup melted
butter and 2 tsp vanilla extract.

Chili Starter Kit
Not many things say comfort
like a big bowl of chili on a cold day. We have
perfected our seasonings for chili and are ready
to share it with you. Directions:
Add contents of main bag (not
the cream colored small bag yet) to 2 lbs of
browned, cooked ground beef, 4 cups beef stock /
broth and 1 pint crushed
or tomato sauce. Bring to a
boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low
and simmer uncovered until thickened, about
1-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Mix together
½ cup water and small bag contents until smooth.
Add mixture to chili. Bring to simmer over
medium-low. Cook,
uncovered, stirring often, until slightly
thickened about 30 minutes. Serve with your
choice of toppings. Enjoy!
