Sheep

The sheep is our oldest son's project. He currently has 5 ewes and 1 ram.

The Barbados Black Belly Sheep are a hardy sheep that our oldest son has been interested in for a while. The sheep do extremely well in our conditions and in lambing. They are hair sheep that are good for for meat.

Arawak (ewe on the right) - She is a cross of Barbados Black Belly and Katahdin. Bambi is her mother.

Aruba - Barbados and Katahdin

Kokomo - Barbados

Blackie (ram) - Blackie was born January 2022. He is a Dorper/Katahdin cross. He has done a great job at being a ram and has produced lots of pretty babies.

We know that Stormy isn't a sheep, but she sometimes thinks she is. She's always hanging out with the sheep and even takes a big liking to the lambs.

Stormy was born in June 2014.
