Special Order
This is our favorite
bread!! I make this
several times a week for
us. Its' so good! We use
this for sandwiches all
the time and just eat it
by the slice.
I use our sourdough
starter, avocado oil, a
small bit of sugar,
Himalayan pink salt, a
little bit of yeast and
organic white flour.
Then butter is brushed
on after baking.
Each loaf is a little
over 1 pound.

jalapenos that we raise

Freshly Milled Einkorn Sourdough
Bread -

A little over 1/3 of the
flour in this bread is
made with Einkorn flour
that is freshly milled.
Einkorn is an ancient
grain that is considered
the original wheat. It
remains a pure,
unhybridized form of
wheat that is easier to
digest. It contains a
higher percentage of
protein than modern
wheats. Einkorn also has
higher levels of fat,
phosphorus, potassium
and beta-carotene. It's
great to use in breads,
muffins, pancakes,
cookies, etc.
Each loaf is
approximately 1-1/2

Sourdough Starter
This starter originally
came from the Old World
Sourdough Starter that
is several hundred years
old. We were intimidated
by making sourdough
bread, but our oldest
son was excited to get
going and purchased the
starter. We're glad he
did and have been using
it ever since.
It's not as intimidating
as it sounds. It's
actually quite easy.
There are so many things
that you can make with
sourdough: soft-crust
bread, pancakes,
waffles, brownies,
muffins, cookies,
doughnuts, fritters,
cakes, cobblers,
biscuits and so much
more.
The fermentation process
of sourdough takes your
normal ingredients for
bread making and
improves them
nutritionally. It's also
been known to be easier
to digest than bread
made with traditional
yeast. Sourdough has
prebiotic and probiotic
properties, plus lots of
other benefits.
The sourdough starter is
Brooks's adventure. In
his starter organic
flour is used. Each
starter will contain 2/3
to 3/4 cup of starter.
It is ready for the
baker to add their own
flour and water to get
it going very quickly to
be a substantial
starter. Each batch of
starter is place into a
glass jar. You'll
receive easy to follow
instructions plus three
of our favorite
sourdough recipes.
